BAYVIEW MACKINAC RACE

 

Bayview Mackinac Race which is held mid-July is recognized by sailors as one of the most challenging freshwater boat races in the world.  Whether you’re watching from one of the many docks dotted along the eastern coastline, or participating, this is one of the most exciting annual sailing events ever planned. The race starts at the Bayview Yacht Club in Port Huron. From the north-bound course of the Port Huron to Mackinac Race, there are a multitude of vantage points along the shores of Michigan’s eastern coast. You can join the culminating festivities at the finish line on Mackinac Island where the hospitality, celebrations, and scenery are second to none.
